Goldenrod screams "fall" to me! Being within 10 miles of the Gulf waters, fall colors are much later arriving than most of the U.S. Purple and yellow wildflowers are our "fall" colors! We've got one invasive trash tree, the popcorn tree, that has the fall color changes but most of our others just fall off or turn brown. Oh, well... No snow and ice down here so it's a good trade-off! :)
